Crapping and other transformational techniques.

I recently downloaded “The Excavation of Hobbs Barrow” from Steam. It’s a modern point and click adventure game set in Victorian England in a village on the moors. The story was disturbing, intriguing and unnervingly familiar and it nailed that pixel art style that I loved from older games in the genre, Such as Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. After I finished the game I remembered that I had a folder of images that I had purposefully “crapped”, (an affectionate term for the technique of making photos and images worse in fidelity). and I thought it made sense to post them as an expression of the unsettling but somehow simultaneously comforting narrative thread of regression, dissociation and simulation I am living in ATM concerning my mental health. I tried to go for an early / mid 90s EGA/VGA vibe.
